2 ways to Style a scarf for summer
Scarves are all over instagram at the moment: those Sophia Loren inspired moments of beachside glamour. But is it wearable for those of us that don't live our summers out by the sea? In short, yes. You might not be knotting one in bright colours to match your bikini, but with two clever styling hacks they can become your new best (accessorising) friend, whether you're heading for beach or city life. We're showing you how with two of our favourite styles from Brazilian and Norwegian brand Victoria Ragna (side tip: all their amazing scarves are currently on sale!)
1. A good sized silk scarf in classic colours is the perfect starting point (Anna wears Nor scarf by Victoria Ragna) all with a silky nod to 50s glamour. Fold the scarf in half corner to corner and place the middle of the fold at the top of your forehead. Then, simply wrap around the front of the neck. Be sure to keep it loose and undone and, to keep the look on the contemporary side of retro, team with jeans and mules.
2. Look 2 is about those ‘when the sun goes in it’s a bit chilly but you don’t want to drag a jacket around’ kinda days. In steps the shawl, but not as you know it. Half Victoria Ragna's Blatimen scarf on the diagonal, sling it over your shoulders and belt it at the middle. Quick tip: avoid doing this over floral dresses or anything that could end up looking frumpy.
