How to
Two Ways to Transition Your Denim
Hang up your daisy-print glad rags and take your trusted indigo friends for another spin. The gradual drop in temperature has our frilly cotton-pique tops feeling about as relevant as a cabriolet car in winter and, joyfully enthused as we are about summer, no one wants to get caught in the rain in a lining-less dress that morphs into a somewhat transparent mess when wet.
Truthfully, we've missed our jeans - cut off denim shorts just aren't the same - so we're welcoming their return with disproportionate excitement (it's only been a couple of months, but whatever.) But for those less excited, we wanted to keep a little bit of summer where the indigo goes.
Those sandals you invested in at the beginning of summer and thought you'd wear well into September? Don't sign them off yet.
1. DD FOR THE WIN
That old faithful never gets old and we're not about to let it now. Keep the sun shining bright in the top half, and do the double denim thing by way of indigo sandals that make your jeans pop. Opt for a contrasting pair to lift the combo.

2. NAKED AMBITION
Because what could be more summery than showing a little skin, are we right? These Ancient Greek Sandals dare to bare (note to podophobics: do not try this at home) and make jeans feel summery faster than you can say PVC.
