How to wear your lingerie as an accessory
accessory: noun
1.a thing which can be added to something else in order to make it more useful, versatile, or attractive.
It's the subtle touches that make an outfit: the way you knot your belt, layer your jewellery or pair fishnet socks with sandals. Accessories go beyond bags and shoes, to make up - a red lip or nails can be as transformative as a glittered clutch bag - and lingerie.
Wearing lingerie to elevate an outfit isn't a new concept: corsetry and camisoles have always appeared and reappeared in fashion. But new label Diane Houston's pieces, from the designer of luxury lingerie brand Gilda and Pearl, set us the challenge of working into our wardrobes as we do everyday with a multitude of accessories.
